“I've had the great pleasure of knowing Dr. Jimerson for over twenty years.  Saying that this woman is a genius and phenomenal educator is a gross understatement!  I learned more in her course than in any other professional course I've taken in my twenty two years as a teacher.  She is without question one of the best educators and consultants in the country.  She's made the course affordable, flexible and customizable, with immediately implementable tasks and goals that help you along your journey.  The course content and the "Get It Done" sessions have been invaluable to me as a life long educator recently transitioning out of the classroom.  She goes to great lengths to help you reflect in depth on your professional journey and helps scaffold the transition masterfully.  She was always available and went above and beyond to make sure I was supported to the maximum degree. I cannot recommend this course enough.  Great Job Lanette and thank you so very much” S. Randle.

“Lanette's thoughtful guidance over several weeks provided a comprehensive roadmap for a career transition. We received a wealth of practical resources from how to interpret job listings, to writing cover letters, and networking. I especially appreciated the chance to share with other participants going through this difficult transition. The one-on-one coaching session was an extra bonus!” Kara K.

“Lanette encouraged and guided my transition out of a career that no longer aligns with my values. She helped me develop a plan that centers my rest. As a result of her thoughtful leadership, I defined goals to help me realize what joyful work would look like” - R. Carriere

“This workshop helped me identify career goals as they relate to my work and my sense of wealth. The workbook and conversations helped guide me through my career transition while staying on track to achieving my goals.” A. M.

About me:

I am no stranger to the questions and challenges of transitioning. In 2005 when I made the decision to leave the classroom I was scared. Who was I if not a classroom teacher? I quickly learned that my years as an advisory member for a foundation and my work with non-profits paired with my experience as a teacher and my entrepreneurial mindset made me more than prepared for the life I desired and deserved. Not only was a transition possible, my stepping aside allowed others to grow in their own professional journey. Want to learn more about my experience?
